What Unsay Apps does with your data
Last updated: 5 October 2026
The short version
Unsay Apps does not collect your personal data. None of our apps has an account, advertising, tracking or analytics, and what you write or choose in them stays on your device. This page covers the website and each app, and says plainly the few places where something can leave your device, and only because you chose it.
This website
This website is plain HTML and CSS. It sets no cookies, runs no scripts and uses no analytics. Your host or network may keep ordinary server logs outside our control. If you email us, we receive your address and message and use them only to reply.
Threshold
There is no sign-in, profile or personal information. Each day's quote is calculated on your device from the date, and no record of which quotes you have seen is kept or sent. Notifications are scheduled locally.
A quote's source link opens a public-domain text in your browser only if you tap it, and that site's own privacy practices then apply.
On iPhone, iPad and Mac, Apple's MetricKit may give the app a short technical summary after a crash. Nothing is sent automatically: you are asked in the app, and if you agree an email opens with the report filled in for you to review. It contains only a timestamp, app and OS version and the type of crash, never how you use the app. On Android, Threshold contains no crash-reporting or analytics code.
Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. Threshold never sees your payment details.
Hesychia
Hesychia collects, transmits, sells and shares nothing, and the app itself makes no network connections. There is no account, analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party code.
Your sittings, lectio passages and notes, phrases, links and settings are stored only in the app's own storage on your device. If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, Apple's backup may include that data under your own Apple account. Hesychia does not control that.
If you add a web link and tap it, it opens in your browser, and that site has its own privacy policy. Hesychia does not ask for location, contacts, camera, microphone or notifications.
Reckon
Reckon has no account and no server. Your predictions, notes and tags live on your device and in your own iCloud or Google backup, under that provider's terms. Reckon sends no prediction text anywhere, and has no analytics or advertising.
Optional writing help runs only on your device. Nothing you write is sent to a cloud model.
Reckon is not yet released. If a feature that shares data between people is ever added, it will be opt-in, per prediction, and this policy will be updated before it ships.
Ison
Ison has no account and no analytics. Your practice history, a plain record of the days you sat, is stored on your device only and is never sent to us. Chant audio is a tone produced on your device. Ison is not yet released, and this policy will be revised if that changes.
Children
Our apps collect no personal data from anyone, including children, and are not directed at children specifically.
Deleting your data
Deleting an app removes everything it stored on your device. Backups you made through Apple or Google are yours to manage in your own account.
Changes to this policy
If anything about how we handle data changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
